When the Snyder Cut version of Justice League was confirmed to be happy, there were many who were happy that director Zack Snyder was going to be able to finish his vision for the film. However, there was a question as to what would be shown (hint: all of it) and whether the product was done or whether new scenes would need to shot. Warner Bros stated that no new shoots would be done to complete the take, however, The Hollywood Reporter is saying otherwise.
According to the publication, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill and Ray Fisher are coming back to shoot some new scenes for the four-part episodic film coming to HBO Max in 2021.
Now, as to how MANY scenes are going to be shot, that’s unclear. More than likely they are small scenes to help tie up things that Zack Snyder didn’t get to do last time. It’s very doubtful that they’re big action scenes as that would require more time effort and actors to do. But only time will tell.
