2020 might have seen the shut down and delay of many TV shows, but it looks like nothing short of the Force could stop Disney from making the highly anticipated second season of The Mandalorian. Today, they announced that new episodes of the show would begin coming out on its streaming platform, Disney+, starting on October 30.
For those who haven’t seen the show, The Mandalorian follows a Mandalorian who goes around the galaxy completing bounties. One such mission requires him to kill, what is now commonly referred to as, a Baby Yoda, but instead he keeps it as his adorable companion. While Star Wars has put out a statement, there are no details as to what the plot of the show will be. However, we do know that Boba Fett and Bo-Katan will be a part of it, played by Temuera Morrison and Katee Sackhoff, respectively. There are also rumors that fan-favorite Ahsoka Tano will be a character on the show as well, and potentially played by Rosario Dawson. And if the new logo is anything to go by, we should be getting some more Baby Yoda this season as well, with the potential to learn more about his growing powers.
The Mandalorian Season 2 starts streaming on Disney+ on October 30, 2020.
