After Funimation pulled Interspecies Reviewers (Ishuzoku Reviewers) from its streaming service citing that the show didn’t align with their standards last week, Amazon Prime joined the fold by also removing both the English sub and English dub versions from its streaming service.
As of now, Interspecies Reviewers is still listed on the Amazon website but none of the episodes are available. The message states “Our agreements with the content provider don’t allow purchases of this title at this time.”
Amazon is still selling the manga and there are other sites who are still planning on stream the series, AnimeLab being one of them as they announced that they will continue to stream the series in Australia and New Zealand. Wakanim in France is also continuing to stream the series but its Nordic division also pulled the anime.
In addition, it was announced that Tokyo MX will no longer air the anime on their channel. Their reason behind the cancelation is “changes in the circumstances within Tokyo Metropolitan Television.” The anime is still airing on KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, BS11, and AT-X in Japan.
Lesson learned folks. Do your research before signing a contract!
