Disney has not only announced when we’ll be able to watch ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars‘ Season 7, but they also released a new trailer. Check it out below.
Starting on Feb. 21, 2020, Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 will air exclusively on Disney+. Made up of 12 episodes, of which will be released weekly, similar to Disney’s live-action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian.
When Disney released the Star Wars: The Clone Wars many moons ago, I was hooked. It was a chance to watch the Star Wars universe, outside of the movies and it was full of amazing moments and even more amazing characters. Sadly, like all good things, it ended and on a cliffhanger no less.
With the release of this new and final season, fans of the series (ME!) can finally get some closure, and more. As indicated by the trailer, this season also runs parallel to ‘Star Wars III’. Not only did we see a pregnant Padmé, but also Ahsoka splitting away from Anakin. There are a few other clues in the trailer, I’m just not going to spoil them all.
So get ready for when Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 arrives on Feb. 21, 2020.
Now that this is finally going live, here’s to hoping that Disney is planning one last season for ‘Star Wars: Rebels’. Another series that ended with a cliffhanger, with both Ahsoka Tano and Sabine leaving to go look for Ezra. A series with both those badass female protagonists making their way through the universe, looking for their friend would be a great addition. I just hope it happens.
If not, at least we have this.
