The Nintendo Entertainment Podcast is here once again! And now that the Draft is over, it’s time to get back to the regular world of Nintendo! Which is good because Nintendo has brought forth a Direct to talk about in Pokemon-Style!
First up though, the guys talk about the games they have been playing. Todd has been continuing to play Pokemon Shield, but he’s also had some…unique experiences in Fire Emblem Heroes. And some of it is a bit…dirty. Will is attempting to finish the Black Eagles house in Fire Emblem Three Houses…finally…and Tyler is going to try and beat Link’s Awakening over the weekend!
Then, in the return of “Direct Talk”, the NEP hosts talk about the Pokemon Direct and discuss the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon return to the Switch, and the Expansion Pass content for Pokemon Sword and Shield! Do they like what they saw? What about the things that are divisive? Find out here!
Next, in the news, Astral Chain seems to have done well, but why is Platinum talking about a partnership with Tencent? And, Nintendo had one of their best year ever in 2019!
Finally, a special Settle it in Smash! Todd and Tyler (and Will too…) debate about whether this Pokemon Direct was the best way to market Nintendo in the year that is 2020!
So sit back, relax, and enjoy the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast!
Plus, vote in our poll! Was it right to do the Pokemon Direct before a traditional Nintendo Direct?
