Well, would you look at that? First, it was Sega bringing their games to multiple platforms, with Xbox following suit. Now, Sony and the Major League Baseball have also gotten on board with the recent announcement that MLB The Show will make its way to other platforms. Yes, the very same MLB The Show game that was once a PlayStation exclusive. Those days are now over.
In a recent announcement that you can see below, we’ll see the game branch out to other consoles as soon as 2021.
More details regarding this development will come at a later date. Still, it’s existing to see the first Sony developed title that will see its self on other platforms other than the PlayStation. While it wasn’t stated as to what consoles it will arrive on, both the Xbox and Nintendo Twitter accounts have responded to this news. They’re also the only other gaming consoles out there, Stadia not included.
No more away games. https://t.co/47Bui1tuUj

Of course, don’t get it confused and assume other games are going to be handled as such. More than likely, the Major League Baseball organization had a lot of pull with making this happen. In all likelihood, they want to see more Baseball games on other platforms. Hence this announcement out of now where.
Still, it is an interesting development.
