The Nintendo Switch has been having a killer 2019, and that was due in large part of the massive gaming library that came out for the system this year. But it’s the hardware sales that many keep track of, and to that end, the Switch had the biggest sales week in the US in its history.
Between November 24th-November 30th the Switch sold 830,000 units just in the United States. And now, because of those sales, the Switch has sold around 17.5 million units just in the US. A very impressive number.
Nintendo of America senior VP of sales of marketing Nick Chavez said this of the sales in a press release:
“Holiday shoppers see the value of Nintendo Switch, which offers a vast library of games for every type of player. Whether shopping for the ideal gift or picking one up for yourself, the Nintendo Switch family of systems provides options that fit every play style.”
With Christmas sales coming up, things are sure to pick up even more for the Switch and its games.
