And it’s all MINE!
When I was younger, I was (and still am) a huge fan of Hasbro’s and Takara’s Transformers. I watched every TV episode, read every comic and I simply had to have every toy they released. Well, seeing how I was younger and at the mercy of my parents, that last part never happened. Though I love that my parents did present me with more than enough toys to keep me busy, I never could get the good stuff.
The good stuff as in the big boys of the Transformers line, such as Fortress Maximus, Trypticon, or Omega Supreme. Oh yes, I was a die-hard fan of Omega. When you saw him in the cartoon or comics, no one wanted to deal with him. Despite being one of the older Transformers, if he looked at you, it was a done deal. It was just the way he was presented, his epic backstory, he could transform into a rocket base and a tank, and was the only Autobot that I can recall that didn’t give a damn to what Optimus Prime said to him.
I always wanted to have my very own. The problem was the older versions were out of production and finding a mint or good condition that was reasonably priced wasn’t possible. So I gave up, and while other unofficial versions were released, I wanted the real deal.
When Hasbro announced the “Transformers War for Cybertron: Siege” toy-line, I was hoping the company would include Omega as one of the Transformers. Eventually, they did just that, as well as several other of my favorites. When Omega ( was available for pre-order, I dropped the cash and awaited the day he’d be delivered. Except it kept being delayed and I completely forgot about it. That is until a few days ago when Amazon emailed me out of the blue and said my order was being delivered.
Well, it’s here and damn, this thing is bigger than I expected. He’s quite taller than the original toy, that’s for sure. Which makes sense as he is a titan class (Titan Class WFC-S29 Omega Supreme). Included is a Micromaster Autobot, Countdown, tracks for the tank and robot mode, several fire blast accessories and the instructions.
Check out some of the photos I’ve taken below.
As you can see, he’s still in the packaging and will likely stay that way for a while. I’m lacking the proper space to put him on display and will need to hit up Ikea and pick up another Detolf cabinet. Otherwise, I can see my son running around the house with Omega in hand. And with me losing my mind, so it’s best to avoid that. Once that’s done, I plan on giving Omega a better look and post a review later.
Still, for $150, I feel this was money well spent. My inner child is happy, the wife, not so much. But damn it does feel go to finally have my very own Omega Supreme after all these years. Of course, it doesn’t stop here. I saw that Transformers War for Cybertron: Earthrise Optimus Prime at NYCC 2019. I already have my pre-order in and I recommend you do the same before they’re gone.
As for this Transformers War for Cybertron Titan Omega Supreme, if you’re trying to find it then good luck. Most places are either out of stock or have doubled the asking price. Though some locations still have some, such as Big Bad Toystore.
