I’m not making this up
When I woke up this morning, I had more than a few people share the news that KFC was making a dating simulator game, with an equally bizarre game – I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator. I quickly glimpsed at my calendar to make sure I wasn’t teleported back to April 1st. Sure enough, the news was true and the company known for its hearty chicken delectables was developing its own game. Sure, why not, right? It wouldn’t be the first game from a fast-food company.
Does anyone remember the Noid game from Dominos?
Talk about weird, right? This game is coming to Steam and is being developed by Psyop. A studio that isn’t known for its gaming ventures, but has released two games in the past, one of which is Kismet, an enjoyable VR experience.
I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator follows you, a promising culinary student, as you try to date your classmate, Colonel Sanders. Throughout your journey, you’ll be faced with life-changing decisions that will affect your chances of friendship and love. But be careful! Your choices have real consequences with real animated characters’ feelings at stake.
Do you have what it takes to survive culinary school? Will Colonel Sanders choose you to be his business partner? Or maybe even so much more? Find out in the most finger lickin’ good dating simulator ever created—a game that KFC actually made.

The game isn’t available yet, there’s no price and we can only wishlist it at the moment. While I don’t have any interest in playing this as dating simulators aren’t my thing. I do think that this bizarre crossing of the streams is an interesting one and if any of you should happen to stream or record some gameplay. Well, let me know so I can check it out.
I still can’t believe someone went and did this. Interesting times we live in, interesting times for sure.
