Nintendo has been doing a series of big launches on mobile in the last couple of months, with the latest one being Pokemon Masters from DeNA. And the game is already getting a lot of buzz from both critics and fans. Which in turn has led the game to an impressive milestone in just four days time. As Pokemon Masters has been downloaded over 10 million times.
This was revealed via the official Japanese Pokemon Masters Twitter handle, and it speaks a lot to not just the quality of the game, but the love of Pokemon as a franchise.
Now, as for the money it has made, that hasn’t been calculated as of yet, but it’s likely on the way. The game isn’t as intrusive as Pokemon Go was upon its launch so the yield will be much smaller, but it’s also an entirely different game so that is another factor in this.
This also bodes well for Nintendo as a whole, as Pokemon Masters will help build up the hype for the next true Pokemon title that is coming to the Switch in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
