As fall approaches, many fans are sadden that this October we won’t be getting The Haunting of Bly Manor, the sequel to the surprise hit horror series The Haunting of Hill House. But there’s no need for despair, as there’s finally news as to who will be in the new season, including some familiar faces.
There are several cast members from The Haunting of Hill House that will return to the main cast. Victoria Pedretti, who played youngest sister Nell Crain, will play the governess Dani, who is the main character. Oliver Jackson-Cohen, who played Luke Crain, is the character Peter, described as a charming young man who lives at Bly. Kate Siegel, who played the psychic sister Theo, is in the cast but in an unnamed role, as is Henry Thomas, who played the young version of the father Hugh Crain. Catherine Parker, who played one of the old ghosts Poppy Hill, will also be back in an unnamed role.
There are some new faces as well. iZombie actor Rahul Kohli will play “a small town guy with a worldly mindset, who has returned to the country to take care of his ailing mother.” Amelia Eve and Benjamin Ainsworth will are Flora and Miles, the two children that the governess is taking care of. T’Nia Miller, from HBO’s Years and Years will also be a part of the cast.
There will likely be more cast reveals, including potentially someone from NBC’s hit show The Good Place, if Mike Flanagan’s (the showrunner) tweet is any indication:
I’m honored and so excited to work with this incredible ensemble. Stay tuned for updates as we venture into Bly… it truly is a Great, Good Place.
