With Sony releasing their September “Free Games” for the Playstation Plus subscription platform, Xbox has followed suit by releasing their September “Games with Gold” games for their subscription service.
So as you saw above, you get the following games for September (Along with their release dates):
- Hitman: The Complete First Collection – September 1-30
- We Were Here – September 16-October 15
- Earth Defence Force 2025 – September 1-15
- Tekken Tag Tournament 2 – September 16-30
Given that Playstation Plus only drops 2 games each month, Games with Gold is a much better service for the cost. Plus if you took advantage of a little trick where you combined Xbox Live Gold with the $1.99 Game Pass, you’ve built a huge collection of games to play on Xbox One this year.
