Crunchyroll has announced a brand-new game based off of Rooster Teeth’s RWBY series! The game is called RWBY: Crystal Quest and it will be a puzzle fighter game that is slated to launch this summer!
Crunchyroll has partnered with EGLS Technology to create the puzzle fighter which uses the match three jewel puzzle formula. The game will be available for everyone on mobile devices for the low price of free! The game will feature chibi versions of popular characters Rube, Weiss, Blake, and Yang.
“The Crunchyroll community already loves ‘RWBY’ for its charming cast of characters and its engaging action scenes,” said Brady McCollum, head of global operations and international, Crunchyroll. “In ‘RWBY Crystal Quest,’ fans can expect much of the same, with fan-favorite characters, similar pacing, and attacks coming to life through a fast-paced, match-three format.”

RWBY Chibi, a series of shorts based on the RWBY franchise, is currently streaming on VRV as well as Rooster Teeth.
Crunchyroll adds RWBY to their catalog of games based on anime titles such as Bungou Stray Dogs: Tales of the Lost and Grand Summoners. Crunchyroll is also the marketing partner for Attack on Titan: TACTICS which is slated to release this fall.
