With a few weeks left before the rebooted Samurai Shodown is released, SNK is putting out one more demo. This demo will be available for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Coming on June 21st, 2019, this new demo (trial) will let give access to Gengju, Ukyo, and Charlotte, as well as the blood mode, tutorial, and practice modes. Sadly, the improved input delay fix won’t be included in this demo. Unlike the previous SamSho demo, this one won’t be timed. Meaning there won’t be a two-hour limited, so you can play to your heart’s content. Well, until the demo ends on July 7th, 2019.
The sad news is that this demo hasn’t been officially announced for the West. Here’s to hoping that we’ll see the demo here, otherwise, you’ll need to create a Korean account to partake in the demo.
Samurai Shodown will be officially released on June 27th, for the PS4 and Xbox One. There’s also a PC and Nintendo Switch port releasing during Winter 2019.
