A while back, Epic Games announced they have partnered up with Quantic Dream, to bring over three of their hit titles. Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human are all slated to be exclusive to the Epic Games Store. We just didn’t know these games would be released. That’s all changed as Quantic Dream has dropped a new trailer that includes not only the release date but new information on some playable demos.
Let’s talk demos first. Starting on May 24, 2019, the Heavy Rain demo will be released. Followed by the Beyond: Two Souls demo on June 27, 2019, and then Detroit: Become Human’s demo sometime during Summer 2019. The full versions of the game will start with Heavy Rain releasing on June 24, 2019, Beyond: Two Souls on July 27, 2019, and Detroit: Become Human during Fall 2019. You’re able to pre-purchase the games now over on the Epic Games Store if you’re so inclined.
So there you have it, playable demo’s coming soon, with full games not that much beyond us. I know Quantic Dream’s has a reputation and I’m not here to address that. I’m here to talk about several previously console-only titles that are now making their way to the PC. Which excites me as we should see quite a visual jump and better performance. I also always wanted to check these games on, but I never got around to doing so. Outside of the demo for Detroit: Become Human, that is. Hopefully, these ports won’t be a letdown. However, the PC recommended specs are a bit scary.
