First Full Trailer Brings Us Back to ‘The Twilight Zone’

By Andrew AgressFebruary 22, 2019

CBS All Access has revealed the first trailer for the upcoming reboot of The Twilight Zone. Jordan Peele, director of Get Out, serves as the executive producer for the series. He previously appeared in a short teaser trailer released during the Superbowl. In the new show, Peele takes over for the Rod Serling narrator role in the series, as he does in the trailer:

Judging by the trailer, it looks like the new season will incorporate time travel, a presidential election, and airline travel. The last of these is hardly surprising considering arguably the most famous episode of the original series involves William Shatner as a passenger on a plane who sees a creature perched on the wing.

The Twilight Zone reboot will feature episodes starring Adam Scott, Steven Yeun, and Kumail Nanjiani. Each episode will also feature Peele as host. The first couple episodes will debut on April 1st on CBS All Access, with the rest following each Thursday.

Andrew comes from the majestic land of New Jersey (the part that doesn't smell). A big fan of sketch comedy, he writes and performs it whenever possible. He gets his powers from listening to indie folk music and drinking aloe water.
