You’ve asked for it, over and over again and Capcom has been listening. A limited demo for Resident Evil 2 Remake called “1-Shot Demo”, will be able for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and even the PC. This is the same demo that was originally spotted on the Microsoft online store.
This demo will let gamers explore Raccoon City for just 30 minutes. Should they complete the demo under 30 minutes, they’ll be able to replay the demo until all the time is used up. Fail, and surpass the 30-minute time limit and the demo is over. This is literally a demo in the most literal sense since once that 30-minutes are up, the game basically self-destructs. Though I’m sure someone will likely figure out a way to cheap out the final countdown.
According to Capcom, once the demo is up, there will be a new cinematic trailer exclusive to demo participants. And while you won’t be able to replay the game, you’ll at least be able to re-watch the trailer as many times as you want. Though I’d rather replay the game and I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels that.
While you’re waiting for both the demo and the full game to be released, why not check out our “Everything we know about Resident Evil 2 Remake”.
Resident Evil 2 Remake will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on January 25, 2019.
