While I was checking out what’s coming out on Steam, I noticed that Resonance of Fate 4K/HD Edition was available. Which is surprising as the game is listed as an October 18, release. But yet here it is and it’s even listed in Steam as being released today. So it looks like someone was in a nice mood and decided to release it today. Who am I to complain.
This game has a cult following and packs a decent story. The battle system is always brilliant and worth checking out if you enjoy JRPGs. Yes, it’s still cheesy as all hell, but that’s part of the charm. I also didn’t see any mention of Denuvo being included. I know how much you (and me) PC gamers loathe that anti-temper software. Thankfully, it’s nowhere to be found. What you will find is upscaled visuals, resolution support up to 4K and even dual audio support (Eng/Japanese). Sadly, there’s no ultrawide 21:p support in the game. Still, outside of that, it’s all good news.
Lastly, the game has a 10% discount if you pick up it before October 24. The title is also being released on the PS4 if PC gaming isn’t your thing.
