Fire Emblem Heroes has been a massive success for Nintendo, especially in regards to their “mobile initiative”. It’s not a stretch to say that the game is the most successful mobile game ever made by Nintendo (Pokemon GO was made by Niantic for the record). And one of the reasons for this is because of their constant flow of content, which regularly includes new heroes for players to try and summon to their teams. But for the first time, rival generals from an enemy nation are getting their own banner.
This Friday, the “Generals of Múspell” banner will arrive, allowing players the chance to summon Helbindi, Laevatein, and Laegjarn. These three generals have been very prevalent in “Book Two” of Fire Emblem Heroes, as they serve Surtur, King of Muspell. And Laevatein and Laegjarn are actually the daughters of Surtur.
What’s interesting about this though is that this is a true first. For while gamers have gotten access to all sorts of Fire Emblem characters across all the titles (including ones only released in Japan), these are characters created specifically for Fire Emblem Heroes. What’s more, they are enemies at the present time. Granted, Veronica, another character created for Heroes, is able to be summoned, but only as a Legendary Hero, which has been stated to be a Veronica from another world.
This leads me to wonder if these three are going to switch allegiances in the main story. You can check out the trailer for their arrival below.
