Easily one of the biggest gaming requests of 2018 (and 2017 if you think about it) was for Bandai Namco to bring Dragon Ball FighterZ to the Nintendo Switch. The desire spawned from the game being snubbed in the initial reveal, and it got so big that the voice actor for Vegeta actually tried to rally Bandai Namco to do so. Well, at E3 2018, the Switch version got confirmed, but now, Bandai Namco has revealed that the Switch version will have some special modes.
This came via a tweet, where they noted that Dragon Ball FighterZ for Switch will feature 1v1 and 2v2 local multiplayer. This is no doubt meant to capitalize on the portability that has made the Switch a legendary console amongst gamers. But wait, that’s not all, the version will also feature am ” Offline 6-player Party Match Mode”.
At present, these modes are only declared for the Nintendo Switch, but many are asking if the other versions will get this as well.
As if that wasn’t enough, Bandai Namco also confirmed the rumor that there will be a beta for the Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ coming in August. At present, there is no date attached to it though.
Either way, Switch owners have a lot to look forward to when Dragon Ball FighterZ arrives on September 28th.
