The official PlayStation Blog has revealed May’s additions to the PS Now lineup. The latest batch of PlayStation games coming to PS Now includes a number of PS2 titles. The PlayStation Store only began to offer PS2 games relatively recently, and now they will start to roll out onto PS Now – the subscription service for streaming PlayStation Games. Ape Escape 2, Dark Cloud 2, and Hot Shot Tennis will arrive for PS4 through the PS Now service.
The full list of additions is as follows:
- Ape Escape 2
- Dark Cloud 2
- Hot Shots Tennis
- Limbo
- Metal Slug 3
- Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics
- Sine Mora EX
- Siren
- The Last Blade 2
PS Now boasts a library of over 600 games, with new games being added each month. The addition of PS2 games to its library is a smart decision, as players might be more inclined to try the service if they can play games from consoles they may no longer have access to. Still, the biggest issue with the service is that streaming games isn’t feasible for everyone’s internet, and the $19.99/month price tag is off-putting for some. Still, perhaps this increased support of PS2 on PS4 might garner more interest in the subscription.
