It’s not news that Xbox Play Anywhere titles will be playable on the PC. Titles such as Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4 and most recently Forza Motorsports 7 have been playable on Windows 10 for a while now.
However, with the recent announcement that all new Microsoft Studio games will be included in the Xbox Game Pass. The obvious wasn’t so, obvious. Many of us failed to take into account that all of these games will also be playable on Windows 10. Meaning that the Xbox Game Pass will have an added perk by allowing PC gamers to get into the action. Even if PC gamers with Windows 10 don’t own an Xbox One. So while they would miss out on all those Xbox 360 and Xbox One titles without Xbox Play Anywhere. Those titles that do feature it will be accessible for just $9.99, for a limited time.

So there you go, PC gamers. There is some benefit to having Xbox Game Pass on the PC, after all. Once Sea of Thieves and Crackdown 3 are released, you’ll be able to play them on your PC, thanks to Microsoft’s game rental service.
Now, if only Microsoft would finally give us the ability to play Xbox 360 games on the PC, this would be pretty nifty. Don’t you think so?
