Square Enix has announced boxed Limited and Vinyl Editions of Life is Strange: Before the Storm. The Limited Edition features an art book, the licensed soundtrack on CD, an outfit pack, the first episode of the original Life is Strange, and a new “mixtape mode” that allows you to customize a playlist from the Life is Strange soundtrack. The Vinyl Edition contains all this, as well as a boxed set of the soundtrack on vinyl.
The set is available for pre-order on the Square Enix store; pre-orders will receive an exclusive Chloe and Rachel figurine as well as the Classic Chloe outfit DLC. If you were a fan of the first season of Life is Strange, now is your opportunity to check out Before the Storm, which precedes the events of the first game and follows the story of Chloe Price and Rachel Amber.
The Limited and Vinyl Editions will release on March 6 for $39.99 and $69.99, respectively. The special editions release the same day as Before the Storm‘s bonus episode, titled “Farewell”, which sees the return of Max Caulfield from the first game.
All three episodes of Life is Strange: Before the Storm are currently available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
