Looks like those 4K assets that Turn 10 Studios and Microsoft hyped up for Forza Horizon 3 are closer than we realize. Aaron Greenberg, the Head of Xbox Games Marketing at Microsoft, left this little tweet that provided an update those assets. And they’re coming soon.

Owners of the Xbox One X and Forza Horizon 3 will be in for a treat on Jan. 15th, 2017. I look forward to seeing how the 4K assets on the X1X, stack up to the game running at 4K on the PC. Will it better as good? Better? We’ll find out on the 15th, but I’m excited about it.
However, I’m also a tad confused as well. The tweet mentions that the Xbox One X will get exclusive 4K assets. Well, they can’t really be exclusive since the title is only on the Xbox family. And since the Xbox One/S can’t do 4K, does this mean that the PC isn’t getting these assets? Or does the PC already have 4K assets (to which I couldn’t get an official answer)? So, help me out here and tell me what exactly is going on.
Sure, it would have been nice to have had those when the Xbox One X released, but the fact that they’re still coming is enough to make my mouth water.
