But is it enough?
BattlEye, the anti-cheat solution that has been utilized for PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, has provided an update on the number of bans so far. That number is to the tune of 1.5 million players. That’s a crazy amount of players that have resorted to using cheats. To either win, try to win or just to cause some poor soul much-unneeded frustration.
Update on the number of PUBG bans: 1,500,000.

So, with 1.5 million players banned, you think that would be a positive. Right?
Well, not exactly. Seeing how the game has over 26 million players (on PC). Combine this with the number of players that haven’t been caught that are using cheats. There’s still quite a few out there. Hell, I encountered a several a few hours ago and it was kinda disheartening. Cheats that allow people to move at running speeds while being in prone position. Or numerous wallhacks are still running rampant. I feel that it could damn the game if this keeps at the pace that it’s going.
Still, it’s good to see that there’s a glimmer of hope that more hacks will be ultimately detected by BattlEye. It’s no secret that PC games have always had an issue of hackers and cheats that frequent online gameplay. It’s just the sad realization of it all. And it just so happens that PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS is super popular and sadly, has a big bullseye painted on it.
Hopefully, we’ll get to the point where we can enjoy a game or two, without worrying about someone running any cheats. Or at the very least, fewer of them using them.
