PlayStation brought us some exciting announcements at Paris Games Week last week. Detroit: Become Human, The Last of Us Part II, and Sucker Punch’s newest IP Ghost of Tsushima all made appearances. However, there’s still plenty of information that’s yet to be revealed. Many of these upcoming exclusives do not have concrete release dates – Detroit, God of War, and Spider-Man are all slated for a ‘2018’ release. And of course, there are the developers with projects in the works that we didn’t hear from at PGW.
In an official blog post, Sony teased that there’s still plenty to be shared at the upcoming PlayStation Experience. While they will continue to be vague about what exactly we’ll see in December, they did mention that both Ghost of Tsushima and Dreams will be featured. Little is known about Ghost other than the fact that it takes place in feudal Japan and is open-world, so more information on that will be welcome. Dreams is Media Molecule’s ambitious follow-up to the Little Big Planet series that sadly was not featured at PGW. It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen anything new on Dreams, which has kept many of us wondering if it’s still in the works. Sony has just confirmed that yes, it is still in development, and we can expect to hear more about it in December.
PlayStation Experience takes place on December 9 and 10 in Aneheim, CA, with an exclusive presentation on Friday, December 8 at 8 p.m. PT.
