A few days ago, Nvidia dropped a teaser for an upcoming video card. After watching it for awhile, the internet figured it was going to be some collector’s edition Titan XP card. However, as of today, we know quite a bit more about it. Introducing the Star Wars Collector’s Edition Titan XP (cue the Star Wars theme song).
The same Nvidia Titan XP power – NVIDIA Pascal-based GP102 GPU, each with 3,840 CUDA cores running at 1.6GHz, and 12GB of GDDR5X memory running at 11.4Gbps, with a Star Wars vibe. Coming in both a Jedi green and Galatic Empire red, both cards will showcase these colors, thanks to built-in light panels. And damn do they look good.
In addition, each card will be packaged in a homage to the light and dark sides of the Force, with the Jedi Order edition bathed in white, and the Galactic Empire edition bathed in black.
Want one of these cards? Well, you’ll be able to pre-order one or two as soon as tomorrow. Nvidia will be opening up pre-orders on November 8th, 2017, for users in North America and only if you’re a Geforce Experience user. I’m guessing they’ll send pre-order invites out via Geforce Experience. You are signed up for that, aren’t you?
Outside of that, they’ll be available for purchase starting on November 17th, 2017. No word on the price, but I’d imagine they’re going to go for a bit more than your normal Titan XP GPU.
