Blizzard announced the newest Hearthstone expansion, Kobolds and Catacombs at their 2017 Blizzcon opening ceremony. The expansion will be available in December! Some of the features of the newest expansion include
- Legendary Weapons used by any class!
- New keyword: Recruit – Cards with the Recruit keyword immediately summon minions from your deck and put them into play. Some cards recruit minions that match certain conditions; others recruit randomly chosen minions.
- Spellstones – Play your Spellstone immediately, or empower it by fulfilling specific actions for a greater effect.
- Unidentified Magic Items – These mysterious cards gain new powers when they enter your hand.
- Player Dungeons with 48 possible bosses that you can challenge.
In addition, Marin the Fox will be given out out to all players on Monday, November 6. If you have a BlizzCon Virtual Ticket, you will receive a golden version of the legendary card. Marin the Fox can be seen below.
