The Nintendo Switch has been dominating the market since its arrival. And when it wasn’t at the top of the charts? It’s because there were shortages that couldn’t facilitate the demand for it. Though exact numbers are a bit hard to come by right now, we can confirm that the console is doing REALLY well, especially in France.
Why does France get the notice here? Well, because GoNintendo has reported that the Nintendo Switch is currently around 390K in the country. Why that’s significant is that the Wii U (Nintendo previous console) only sold 832K in France, in its whole life. So, the Switch is nearly at half of what that console did. And it hasn’t even been a year.
Makes you wonder how well it’ll do by the end of the Switch’s lifetime.
