    My First Reaction series has always been a vehicle for me to offer up my thoughts on the first episode of a brand new series. Be that as it may, I am making a special exception in this case. I began reviewing the Black Clover manga from VIZ Media a little over a year ago and I stated that this was like a poor man’s Naruto. In short, the manga is between decent and bad. I decided to give the anime a shot because I was told that it was going to have an original story. I wanted to see if this series could redeem itself.

    I made a mistake.

    I made a grave mistake.

    Rather than go into detail like I normally do for a First Reaction, I’m just going to let this video sum up the first episode of Black Clover. I think the thumbnail gives you fair enough warning.
