At this year’s Sony E3 press conference, Guerrilla Games announced the first official DLC for Horizon: Zero Dawn. We learned from the trailer that the DLC would be called The Frozen Wilds and would release sometime this year. It looks like Guerrilla Games is keeping their word and has announced a release date of this November 7.
The official announcement promises more details will be shared soon. The official E3 trailer showed us new frozen territories for exploration, as well as new enemies and gear. If you preorder The Frozen Wilds from the PlayStation Store, you will receive an exclusive avatar. The DLC is priced at $19.99 (or $14.99 for PS Plus subscribers). You will need to own a copy of the base game in order to play The Frozen Wilds.
