Update: EA has made this news official as today, but there’s more. The Sims 4 will be heading to both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, on November 17th.

From creating unique Sims and building amazing homes to developing Sim’s relationships and pursuing careers, The Sims 4 delivers the same emotional connection our PC players cherish to a new wave of console players. Fans will enjoy being empowered to create and control people in a vibrant virtual world as they experience life’s unpredictable, entertaining moments along the way.
“The addition of a console-version of The Sims 4 has been long-awaited by fans and newcomers alike, and we at Maxis are beyond excited to bring The Sims to new platforms,” said Executive Producer, Lyndsay Pearson. “The game delivers a beautiful The Sims experience on console and comes packed with tons of the fan-favourite content, so players can look forward to the unique gameplay, self-expression, and fun that have come to be tentpoles of The Sims brand. Well, I’m pretty sure this latest bit of Xbox news is sure to please a few people – my daughter included. It would seem that EA’s hit title, The Sims 4, is going to make its way over to the Xbox One, sometime in November 2017.
While this hasn’t been officially announced as of yet, those crafty folks over at TrueAchievements, discovered that the game suddenly had a page up on the Microsoft Store. Now, why is an important detail? Well, considering that The Sims 4 has been available for the past few years on PC, it’s always been available on EA’s Origin website/store front. It has never been available on the Microsoft’s website, but now, it is.
Not that the cat is out of the bag, we can only speculate that Microsoft or Electronic Arts will more than likely make this official. Now, I’m not the biggest fan of The Sims, but there’s no denying that this game has a massive following and will sell like hot cakes.
That is if this whole deal isn’t some sort of listing error. It wouldn’t be the first time.
