In just about every Tekken title, there has always been some sort of mini-game that was included. Whether it be Tekken Force, Tekken Bowl, or Tekken Ball, there was always that something extra that Bandai Namco added to the game. So I was pretty saddened to see that Tekken 7 didn’t have any of that when it was released. Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty to do in Tekken 7 and I think it’s a damned good game, but I did miss those mini-games.
*Update* Bandai Namco has contacted us and has stated that Ultimate Tekken Bowl will be available as a separate purchase. However, they don’t have a price in mind as of yet. But it will likely be less than the season pass.
But I won’t for much longer as Bandai Namco has just announced that Tekken 7 will be getting its own mini-game. And get this, it’s a return of an old favorite – Tekken Bowl. Yes, we’re going bowling in Tekken 7, in the form of Ultimate Tekken Bowl, which will be added via paid DLC. Meaning that if you don’t already have the season pass, you’re going to either need to pick that up or wait to see if the DLC will be provided individually.
Looks like fun and something to play while we’re tired of handing out all those beat downs or receiving them. And check out Harada, as he shows off his lanes skills.
Ultimate Tekken Bowl will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, later during August 2017.
