It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost a year since the shutdown of Rooster Teeth, and with that came a flood of questions about what would happen with its various franchises. Death Battle was able to go independent and released four incredible to end 2024. However, with RT’s former “biggest gun” in RWBY, things have been a bit more quiet. They were initially the first to announce its “status” by revealing VIZ Media bought them and would continue the production of the franchise. Since then, we’ve heard nothing.
However, yesterday, Arryn Zech, Barbara Dunkelman, Lindsay Jones, and Kara Eberle came together to reveal that while things have been quiet on their front, work is being done on RWBY still and that “it’ll be worth the wait.” They even imply that multiple things are happening! Check out the message below:
Hey FNDM! We know you're excited for new RWBY content—so are we! However, good things take time, and we’re working hard to make sure anything involving RWBY is special. We appreciate your patience. Thanks for sticking with us, we promise it’ll be worth the wait! ❤️🤍🖤💛 pic.twitter.com/ab5szvorNF
