DONTNOD has unveiled new information regarding Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, the next narrative adventure from the creators of Life is Strange.
If you don’t know Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is scheduled to release in two parts (Tape 1 and Tape 2) with the first of these releasing on February 18th 2025. The second part of this 10-12 hour story was schedule for release in March but DONTNOD has now announced that Tape 2 will be pushed back by two weeks. Which means it will now release on April 15th 2025.
Here’s what they said regarding the decision to delay:
This decision was made to allow for additional optimization and to give the team the necessary time to refine the experience for players and enhance the storytelling for a truly immersive continuation of the journey.
In the meantime, players and fans can expect some fun and interactive activities on social media to keep them entertained in the time between the two Tapes. These events will be an opportunity to dive even deeper into the world of Lost Records, interact with the community and share unique moments around the game.
Personally, I am excited to jump into DONTNOD’s new narrative adventure. I am glad this delay is only affecting Tape 2 and its minimal. I’m not normally the biggest fan of episodic release styles. However, with such a busy 2025, this episodic approach could be a blessing in disguise for Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.
