The Netflix era of Marvel Shows will also be a reminder of what happens when you’re not afraid to get super gritty, personal, meaningful, and diverse with certain superhero properties. It also had Iron Fist and Defenders…but we don’t talk about that. The standout among all of those shows was Daredevil, which wove masterful stories of both Matthew Murdoch and Wilson Fisk as they tried to “save the city” in ways they felt were right. Then, the entire Netflix experiment was ended, Marvel Studios got back the rights, and now, we’re getting Daredevil Born Again.
This show will “continue” the series, albeit with a bit of a time jump and a focus on events that got started in shows like Echo. In this case, Matt has once again hung up the Daredevil cowl. Wilson Fisk is the new mayor of New York, and they have to come together, it appears, to defeat a new threat in New York. Fans of the Netflix series will instantly recognize the musical stylings, the violence, the returning characters, and more. We can’t say for certain that this will be everything that fans want, but we’ll only have to wait a little while longer to find out, as Daredevil Born Again starts on March 4th on Disney+
