Are you ready to go even further beyond…for Thanksgiving? Regardless of how you celebrate the holiday, or if you celebrate it at all, things like Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade are what make the day even more memorable. We look at the various balloons that come down the street and smile as we recall what they mean to us, and that includes us anime fans! The parade has featured several anime series over the years, including Dragon Ball with a Goku balloon. This year, Toei Animation is unveiling a new balloon featuring the legendary Saiyan to celebrate the franchise’s 40th anniversary.
Instead of making fans wait to see it during the parade, though, Toei Animation decided to drop a special teaser of it. You can check it out below:

It’s not hard to see why the franchise has much to celebrate. For example, they’re slowly releasing new episodes of the next anime series, Dragon Ball Daima, which you can view on Netflix. Plus, the newest game, Sparking Zero, sold three million units on launch day! The only sad thing is that series creator Akira Toriyama won’t be around to celebrate it and see the new Goku balloon.
