Its no secret that Microsoft wants you to game on the Xbox platform, regardless of device. Last week they launched an ad campaign solidifying this by essentially stating that almost anything you may own is in fact an “Xbox.” Just please don’t use a cat box as one. Recently, Xbox President Sarah Bond announced that Xbox Cloud Gaming would allow for a much requested feature, being able to stream your own games and not just the ones available on Xbox Game Pass.
This is now a reality, as Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can stream a select number of purchased games from any web browser enabled device or through the Xbox Cloud Gaming app on Samsung or Amazon Fire televisions or the Meta Quest headsets. 50 games are available at the outset with more to come in the future.
Some of the Available Games
The list of 50 games includes new releases such as Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake and Star Wars Outlaws. 2024 Indie darlings like Balatro and Animal Well. Plus, many others such as Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, NBA 2K25, Visions of Mana, and more.
Please visit the streamable games page for the full list of titles. Xbox does say that the list also includes ultimate or complete editions as well.
Although there’s no specific date given for further additions, hopefully Microsoft continues to add more games to the list, developer and publisher willing. For those hoping for more availability on streaming options, Microsoft promises that Xbox Cloud Gaming will be coming next year to Xbox consoles and the Xbox App on PC.
