With the launch of Sony’s PlayStation 5 Pro being days away, new footage of the console in action has been making its way around YouTube. Twitter/X user, the_21Master, managed to get early access to the console and has been recording gameplay to showcase its performance in various titles, including the Monster Hunter Wilds open beta, Demon’s Souls, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, The Last of Us Part II, and several other games.
Unfortunately, there’s no footage of Elden Ring or Bloodborne, but this lineup should be enough to help convince anyone on the fence about picking up the PlayStation 5 Pro later this week.
As for the PlayStation 5 Pro itself, today’s unboxings confirmed that the console has a considerable boost over the original PlayStation 5, coming in at 17 TFLOPs compared to 10 TFLOPs. It will be interesting to see how much of a difference the upgraded GPU and Sony’s AI-upscaling technology, PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution), will make, and how many features developers will take advantage of.
The PlayStation 5 Pro will be released on November 7, 2024.
