From October 31 to November 3, 2024, Capcom is hosting the Monster Hunter Wilds open beta on PC, giving us all a chance to dive in! As big fans of the series, we’re thrilled to finally go hands-on with the game and see how it performs, especially with some mixed reactions so far about the beta’s stability.
For our first hunt, we’re targeting the elusive Chatacabra, wielding a Light Bowgun to test our skills—and see just how rusty we might be—on max settings with motion blur disabled) to see how well the beta performs on a PC that’s packing quite a punch.
Finally being able to play the game, after not being able to at Summer Game Fest 2024, as well as PAX West 2024, feels so good. I can’t wait to play the full game when it releases early next year.
Monster Hunter Wilds releases for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) on February 28, 2025.
