It was announced that the extended version of In This Corner of the World, an anime film set during the horrors of World War II, is coming to Crunchyroll.
The film (officially titles In This Corner (and Other Corners) of the World) is described as follows:
In This Corner of the World revolves around an 18-year-old woman named Suzu Urano who moves to Hiroshima in 1944 after getting married. After the bombing of Hiroshima during World War II, Suzu must find the determination and perseverance to continue living in a war-torn country, alongside other daily struggles.
Orignially screening in 2016, In This Corner of the World has won number awards including the 40th Japan Academy Film Prize for Best Animated Film and the 41st Annecy International Animated Film Festival’s Judy Award.
Crunchyroll is streaming the movie in Japanese with subtitles available in English, Spanish, Protuguese, French, German, and Italian.
