A SIlent Voice

Eight years later, one of the most critically acclaimed anime movies, A Silent Voice (Koe no Katachi), will return to U.S. theaters!

AMC Theaters confirmed this by listing the film for a December 15 showing. Eleven Arts previously presented the movie when it first made its rounds throughout the U.S.; however, GKIDS will be presenting it this time around.

The movie is based on the seven-volume manga series by Yoshitoki Oima who is also responsible for Fumetsu no Anata e (To Your Eternity.)

The movie is described as follows:

A young man is ostracized by his classmates after he bullies a deaf girl to the point where she moves away. Years later, he sets off on a path for redemption.
