I’ve made my feelings about the MCU pretty clear lately. Phase 5 has been pretty much a disaster, and the only great Marvel movies since it started were GOTG Vol.3 (which didn’t even deal with the multiversal saga) and Deadpool & Wolverine (which is MCU-adjacent by its own account). Whether things work out is up for debate, but we have to take the good news when it arrives, and that brings us to Spider-Man 4. The movie had been rumored to be happening for some time, with Tom Holand himself noting it would occur, but we haven’t had anything definitive until now.
As you can see below, Spider-Man 4 will be in 2026, and its director is the man behind the well-liked Shang-Chi movie. Plus, Tom Holland and Zendaya are likely to return, which will make everyone happy.
‘SPIDER-MAN 4’ will release on July 24, 2026 in theaters.

The key thing to note here is that this film will fall in between the next two Avengers films, which is important for various reasons, as that could influence the plot. It also could mean they’re going to, once again, make the focus on Holland and the returning Robert Downey Jr., who’s going to play Doctor Doom via a multiversal variant.
That makes me nervous, but we’ll just have to see how it plays out.
Since we have a long time to wait, this is the perfect time to sit back and what the first three Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man films. And if you’ve already seen them, they’re classics, so what’s stopping you from watching them again?
