Nintendo has been making some rather interesting announcements lately, including ones that no one would really expect. For example, did you hear about the alarm clock they’re releasing? Yeah, that was unique. Then, there is the Nintendo Switch Online Playtest Program. This was another surprise announcement that’ll start recruiting people tomorrow. You can go here to start registering for it, should you meet the criteria, of course. What are the qualifications? Aside from owning a Switch, you need to have access to both NSO + the Expansion Pack. Oh, and you need to register before the 16th.
The curious thing about this, as a whole, at least, is that it’s unclear WHAT the program is for. We know that recruitment outside of Japan will be “first come, first serve,” and the “playtest period” will be from October 23rd to November 5th. Outside of that, everything is a bit of a mystery. Even still, if you’re up for doing it, why not try it out?
