ReedPop has announced that it’s set to host yet another Tekken 8 event, this time during EGX Arena being held in EGX 2024. This event will pit the best of the best against each other in the UK’s first Major tournament for the recent Tekken release.
After the success of the Tekken 7 tournament in 2023, EGX Arena is back again in 2024 in collaboration with Bandai Namco, bringing with it a prize pool of £5,000 for competitors to battle over. This tournament will be held from 26-27th October giving professional players plenty of time to practice their moves and combos and go on to claim the title of champion fighter at EGX and MCM Comic Con. The EGX Tekken 8 tournament will be live-streamed via the EGX Arena Twitch channel, allowing fans of Tekken 8 to get involved with the excitement, share their favorite takedowns, and be a part of the EGX community wherever they are in the world.
