Neon Genesis Evangelion Might Be Making a Comeback

By Josh PiedraMay 15, 2024

During an interview with The Asahi Shimbun newspaper, Hideaki Anno stated that there may be plans for more Neon Genesis Evangelion. Despite the announcement, he said that this possibility could also mean someone else is at the helm other than himself and that this person would receive a high degree of freedom.

Despite the statement, there are no concrete plans at this present time to do anything further with the franchise.

1997’s The End of Evangelion recently received a theatrical re-run here in North America. GKIDS screened the movie back on March 17 and again on March 20.
