It’s that time again! Yes, it’s time to talk about yet ANOTHER RUMOR about the Nintendo Switch. No, not its successor; that console-to-be has plenty of rumors to talk about without adding more to it. I’m talking about the OG Switch, which still has time on its clock before riding off into the sunset. To that end, certain people are claiming that Nintendo has some “hidden gems” waiting to be brought to the light, and possibly being revealed at the upcoming Nintendo Direct. One such game might be a remastered version of F-Zero GX.
This rumor comes from Zippo, who, in his latest post, said that “F-Zero GX Recharged” is coming to Nintendo Switch. According to him, The Big N has been sitting on this game for about a year, and it’ll feature updated 1080P graphics that’ll run at 60FPS! Furthermore, it’ll have multiple multiplayer modes, including the classic 4-person mode that the GameCube version had.
Zippo also teased that Nintendo views both this and F-Zero 99 as ways to gauge fan interest in the series. So, if this is real, and it does well, we could see a new entry on Switch 2! Maybe.
