Supergiant Games, the creator of Hades and the upcoming Hades II has announced it will be hosting a Hades II Technical Test very shortly. According to Supergiant Games, this technical test will be the first step in getting everything ready for the Hades II Early Access rollout. To be considered for the Hades II Technical Test, go to the Hades II Steam Page, click on “Join the Hades II Playtest,” and wait in suspense for your access.
However, not everyone who requests access will get in, at least not at first. Supergiant Games intends to start small with the user base and ramp things up. You may be invited later if you don’t get access to the test at first.
Of course, more than anything, it’s important to realize that this isn’t early access to Hades II. It’s a test in which Supergiant Games will use data and feedback to ensure that the early access, which we still don’t know when it will start, is in a better position at the start.
The specs for partaking in the Hades II technical test are very tame, though they might change for the upcoming Hades II early access release. I’ve listed those requirements below;
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: Dual Core 2.4 Ghz
Memory: 4GB RAM
Graphics: 2GB VRAM / DirectX 12+ support
Hades II was announced by Supergiant Games during the 2022 The Game Awards. Set in and around the Underworld of Greek myth after the events of the original game. Chronos, the Titan of Time and the wicked father of Hades and his brothers has escaped his imprisonment in the depths of the Underworld to wage war on Olympus. Players will assume the role of Melinoë, the immortal Princess of the Underworld, and will explore a bigger, deeper mythic world, vanquishing the Titan’s forces with the full might of Olympus behind you, in a sweeping story that continually unfolds through your every setback and accomplishment.
Hades II will be available as an early-access game for PC, on both Steam and Epic Games Store.
