What do a prime minister of Poland, a government-controlled Muy Thai Fighter, and an Austrailian Vale Tudo practitioner have in common? And no, this isn’t a dad joke. Thanks to some leaks online, all answers lead to Tekken 8. Data miners have been busy at work to determine who would be next to come to Tekken 8 as DLC. With their answers in and one of them – Eddy Gordo – being confirmed by Bandai Namco themselves, it’s hard to ignore this.
Lidia Sobieska and Fakhumram, both debuting in Tekken 7, will return, according to the leaks. Craig Murdock has also been stated to be making a return. Craig Murdock is probably the oldest character here, with his debut in Tekken 4. Craig has been in every Tekken afterward, with him going to DLC for Tekken 7.

For those unfamiliar, I confirmed and debunked several leaks during the CNT (see quote tweet). I will be using the same methods for this.

Hopefully, this will be true for some. Tekken 8’s Katsuhiro Harada did answer a fan about Lidia’s return in December. Tekken 7 player “Tetsu” won the 2023 European Tekken Cup last and attempted to do so. Tekken 8’s Michael Murray tried to warn the winner about this stunt, but it was too late. Harada’s signature response said it all.
It’s good to keep skeptic hats on, as we will probably hear more about the rest of the season very soon.
Tekken 8 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC. Give The Outerhaven’s Tekken 8 review a read, and you’ll see why we claim that Tekken 8 is the best fighting game released recently.
