Great news, everyone. The Lies of P Twitter account has announced that Lies of P, the Pinnicolo-Themed Soulslike game I couldn’t stop talking about or playing, has gone gold.
Lies of P is an upcoming Soulslike game with several exciting gameplay mechanics that feel unique in a sea of so many “me-to” Soulslike titles. These gameplay mechanics are impressive and had me take notice once I understood them after playing more than I likely should have of the demo.
It is our genuine pleasure to announce that #LiesofP has Gone Gold. Truly, we cannot wait for your arrival in Krat on September 19.
Even the Black Rabbit Brotherhood snuck in to help us thank everyone for your support. pic.twitter.com/2Yceq6x7Uo

This has been one of my most anticipated games of 2023, though it feels like I keep saying that. But at least my nose hasn’t grown. In Lies of P, players will attempt to take on the city of Krat, trying to stay alive to uncover its dark secrets and maybe lying or telling the truth along the way.
Not only was the demo a very polished experience, but the game developers were more than eager to listen to the collected feedback. All of which should help to make the game an even better experience. But more than that, this is Round8 Studio’s first attempt at a Soulslike, and maybe I’m a bit biased, but they knocked it out of the park. Expect me to be diving in, head first, as soon as I can get access to the game.
Lies of P will be available on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 19, 2023.
